At the beginning of the year we started a new project. Besides sponsoring one of the Sonrise children, it is now also possible to sponsor a school child of the Sonrise Baby Home in Wabirongo or a community child of the Sonrise Children’s Home in Kamuli or the Mirembe Cottage in Wakikoola. Update about Michael
In January we started a special project for Michael. Michael comes from the slum area Masese and was severely malnourished. He also had a painful ulcer in his genital area, which urgently had to be surgically removed. In the meantime, thanks to many donations, we have already achieved almost 89 % of our project goal. The operation went without any complications and he is recovering noticeably thanks to the loving care of the caregivers of the Sonrise Babies Home. His parents come to visit him every two days so that the bond to them is maintained. We are so happy to have been able to help this sweet boy and his parents and hope very much that he can return home in three months.
