We would like to introduce our three team leaders, who are going to lead our next team trip to Uganda.
Therefore we asked Heidi, Nadja and Sarah, to give a short interview:
Heidi
Duration of Stay: October 18th – November 13th
“Hello everyone! My name is Heidi. I am 27 and come from France. I met Gabi in November 2017. Two weeks later, I had purchased my plane tickets for Uganda. I have been traveling back each year ever since. This year, will be the third year in a row I have the opportunity to volunteer for Peace’s Hope. Looking forward already!”
Nadja
Duration of Stay: November 4th – November 17th
„Hi, I‘m Nadja, 28 years old and last year I was able to spend this exceptional time with these gorgeous children in Uganda during Christmas. It was an unforgettable and one of the most beautiful experience I‘ve ever had. I felt so much thankfulness, warmth and love. I can‘t say it in words properly. To understand what I‘ve felt, you have to experience that on your own. Therefore, I couldn‘t help but book again a flight to Uganda. I‘m really looking forward to seeing all the children and the Aunties again.“
Sarah
Duration of Stay: November 15th – November30th
“Hey everyone. My name is Sarah and I’m 28 years old. I always dreamt of volunteering so I immediately joined the association when Gabi introduced me to Peace’s Hope e.V. and their work in 2017. One year later I was happy to be part of a four-week journey including a wonderful Christmas time in Uganda. I’m looking forward to traveling back to the children and see how much they’ve grown and learned during this year. Especially I’m happy to pass on all we experienced to our new volunteers this year!”
