Membership

We have set ourselves ambitious goals and we need all the help we can get. Our membership fee is deliberately chosen very low in order to attract as many members as possible. Starting from 20 € for adults and 10 € for minors per year you can also become a member of Peace’s Hope e. V. As we are recognised as a non-profit organisation, this contribution is even tax-deductible. At the beginning of the following year we will send out our donation receipts so that you will have them in time for the next tax return. Please understand that we now only do this for amounts of more than 300 Euros. The administrative effort would otherwise be too high. But don’t worry. For all contributions up to 300 Euros, the tax office accepts the simple proof by bank statement.   Have we awakened your interest? Then fill in the membershipWeiterlesen / Continue reading

19 July 2017 – Foundation of Peace’s Hope e.V.

Founding members from left to right: Manfred Kirchhoff, Gabi Haak, Warren Weidhorn, Nina Jungholt, Bernd Farber, Guadalupe Sanchis Otero, Marion Schwenker, Nina Fitschen, Silvana Pölitz (Lea in the front, daughter of founding member Nina Jungholt)   19th July, 2017 – finally the day arrived where we were able to found Peace’s Hope e.V. Throughout our first conference, which was attended by nine charter members, we not only passed our organisation’s charters, but also decided on the projects that we want to continue to support as well as new ones. As a strong team that we are we want to do our utmost to support our chosen projects. New members are always welcome. For all the aims that we decided on we need active as well as financial support. If we have sparked your interest in our association then click on the link below and become our newest member:   Membership

About us

Vision of Peace’s Hope e.V.

Our vision is very simple:     Our goal is to ensure that 100 % of the donations we receive actually reach the recipients. This is a matter of heart for us. We are aware that this is a challenge because an official club inevitably causes some running costs. We want to realize this by encouraging as many people as possible to join our association and support us in reaching this goal with our low membership fee. The membership fees are intended to finance all association costs. Of course, the surplus goes into the projects. All active members work on a voluntary basis and without any compensation. If you would like to support in our efforts join our association. You can find more information about this under the topic membership.

Construction Mirembe Cottage of Street Girls

Until 2017, the Mirembe Cottage of Street Girls was situated in a rented building which doesn’t have provided enough room for the increasing number of girls for quite some time. Thanks to some donations we were able to buy a piece of land in Wakikoola which is only a few minutes away from Jinja. With this project the founders of Sonrise Ministries also want to help people who don’t belong to their organisation. The extensive project envisages the construction of several buildings like two residential buildings, one for the girls and one for the staff, a school, one water well, sanitary facilities, solar collectors, a defensive wall, a cafeteria, a small hospital and many more. The project will be realised according to the incoming amount of donations. It will also benefit the surrounding community which currently lacks a school, a hospital and only offers a few jobs nearby. TheWeiterlesen / Continue reading
