We are very happy that Nadja will take over the planning and organisation of the team trips to Uganda from today. Nadja travelled to Uganda for the first time in 2018 and immediately fell in love with the local children. With her organizational talent she will now support Peace’s Hope in planning the team trips. At nadja@peaceshope.com she will provide you with advice and assistance.

Save the date! – General Meeting 2020
Dear members of Peace’s Hope e.V. We would like to ask you to reserve the date for this year’s general meeting. It will take place on 05.05.2020, from 5 p.m. at Benninghauser Straße 2, 40591 Düsseldorf. An official invitation including agenda will be sent out at least two weeks in advance.
Special project: Vaccination campaign
The children in Uganda are regularly infected with diseases and need medical care. In order to remedy this, we would like to vaccinate all children against the most common diseases: mumps, measles, rubella, hepatitis B, typhoid fever and yellow fever. For this purpose we have created a special project, which you can find under this link.
Sponsorship
From the new year 2020, Peace’s Hope offers you to sponsor the children of the Sonrise Ministries. Many of our donors build a bond with the children over time, especially if they have already visited Uganda as part of our team. A lot of them wished to personally support these children, to finance their schooling or clothing directly. For this reason, we have decided to make this possible. Read more at this link!
Peace’s Hope goes Amazon Smile
Together with Amazon.Smile a new possibility has opened up to support Peace’s Hope. The program, which was created by Amazon, offers the possibility to give 0.5% of the price of qualified purchases to a social organization chosen by the customer. Peace’s Hope e.V. can now also be selected as such an organization. Simply enter the keyword “Hope” in the search line to find and select us as an organization. Thank you very much for your support!
Thank you – Christmas Project 2019
We would like to thank all supporters of this year’s Christmas project! With your help we were able to give Christmas presents to all Sonrise children, as well as to the children of the caregivers. In addition, some money could be used to buy some items of urgent need for each house. The money from the big pot will be used for Christmas presents for the caregivers and Sonrise staff, as well as for the families in Masese. In the name of the Peace’s Hope Team, the Sonrise Ministries Team and all the children a big THANK YOU!
Paul’s experiences
Paul travelled with our team to Uganda on 18 October 2019. He will stay 2 months with our dear friends of the Sonrise Ministries. After the last team left on November 30, 2019, Paul will report when he has experienced something special. So we can follow the development of the children and the progress of our projects over a long period of time. Read about his experiences here: 9 December 2019 The kids had their casting for the Lion King last Friday and presented a few sentences of the characters that they applied for. We have a total of 35 participants. As I am out sick with flu, I will have some time to think about who will be the future king, to invent some new characters and to write the script. 5 December 2019 Today was the first day of vacation for the Kamuli kids.
