From the new year 2020, Peace’s Hope offers you to sponsor the children of the Sonrise Ministries. Many of our donors build a bond with the children over time, especially if they have already visited Uganda as part of our team. Peace’s Hope goes Amazon Smile
Together with Amazon.Smile a new possibility has opened up to support Peace’s Hope. Update about Michael
In January we started a special project for Michael. Michael comes from the slum area Masese and was severely malnourished. He also had a painful ulcer in his genital area, which urgently had to be surgically removed. In the meantime, thanks to many donations, we have already achieved almost 89 % of our project goal. The operation went without any complications and he is recovering noticeably thanks to the loving care of the caregivers of the Sonrise Babies Home. His parents come to visit him every two days so that the bond to them is maintained. We are so happy to have been able to help this sweet boy and his parents and hope very much that he can return home in three months. Farm Sonrise Ministries
Another big step towards independence for the three homes is the establishment of a farm. For example, cows daily supply fresh milk for the children, chicken eggs, beef cows meat etc. The cultivation of vegetables and fruit also helps to increase independence. And everything that arises as overproduction can be sold additionally. In order to be able to adequately supply the constantly growing number of home residents, there is a need for the following animal species, seeds, stables etc., which are listed below.
